Run the wire up the steering column.Ĥ – Find something that will conduct electricity that is thin and has good flexibility. Remove the airbag SRS reel, take apart the dash/column panels and disconnect the reel from all wiring harnesses.Ģ – Using a conductivity tester, locate the horn wire on the harness.ģ- Clamp a pin connector to a wire and plug it into the horn wire harness.

Note: This install was done on a Sixth generation 96-00 Honda Civicġ – Make Sure the steering wheel is straight, and remove the factory steering wheel and airbag. Some steps were omitted assuming that the installer has basic mechanical knowledge.
